Our Mission
At EXOTICSCON®, our mission is to provide top-notch continuing education for veterinarians and veterinary technicians specializing in zoo and exotic animal medicine. We believe that ongoing education is crucial to enhancing veterinary practices and improving animal care. We also can donate the EXOTICSCON® name to events where exotics veterinary groups come together to provide continuing education.

8:00am-8:50am - The Avian Physical Exam, Anatomy, and Physiology.
9:00am-9:50am - Common Diseases of Pet Birds
10:00am-10:50am - Clinical Techniques for Reptiles
11:00am-11:50am - Common Non-Infectious Diseases of Reptiles
12:00pm-1:30pm - Lunch on your own (or with friends)
1:30pm-2:20pm - Ear Diseases of Rabbits and Rodents
2:30pm-3:20pm - Adrenal Disease and Insulinoma in Ferrets
3:30pm-4:20pm - CT for Exotics: Clinical Applications
Speaker: Len Donato, VMD, DABVP (Avian Practice)
Dr. Donato graduated from Penn Vet in 1996. After graduation he went into private practice to work on dogs, cats, and exotic pets. In 2001 he bought Radnor Veterinary Hospital in Wayne, PA. and has grown the hospital to 10 doctors. He obtained his ABVP board certification in avian practice in 2008 and is Head of the Zoological & Exotic Companion Animal Medical Service at Penn Vet. His interests include wildlife medicine and surgery, orthopedics, endoscopy, and CT techniques and interpretation for exotic animals.
